BBC Ten Pieces Project (2015), Old Park primary:
In March 2015 I worked with an incredible creative team at Old Park Primary, in conjunction with In Harmony Stoke and Telford, to choreograph and co-direct a film in response to the BBC TEN PIECES initiative. You can find out more about the project here
Our final film can be viewed on the BBC website by following this link: http://bbc.in/1FderXm
Look Deeper 3 (2015):
A multi-arts intervention project in which the curriculum was fully collapsed for the week, and children were given the task of exploring the cause of a “strange disturbance”. I provided the drama and movement element of the project, which attracted a worldwide response with bloggers in America and Australia reporting on the incident!

Netherfield Primary School WW1 Project (2015):
A multi arts intervention project using artefacts and stories from WW1 to encourage research, investigation and engagement with local history and heritage. Using drama and movement I worked with years 2 and 4 to produce silent movies exploring the themes, using a basic silent movie maker app on my iPad.
Bournville Remembers (2014):
Working on behalf of The PlayHouse, Birmingham, I worked with Year Two children from Bournville Infant School to look into their own family histories and explore their discoveries about the First World War through drama.
The drama sequences then became part of a short film which formed part of a wider research project “Bournville Remembers – The Documentary”, produced by filmmaker Lauren Hatchard, supported by the University of Birmingham (Voices of War & Peace) and made possible by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Old Park Primary Music Video (2012):
I provided the choreography and operated as Assistant Director for the production of this large scale whole school project.
“I Know What You Did At Bournville Film School…” (2012)
Working alongside musician and education consultant Richard Shrewbury, and Film maker John Hill Daniel, and in partnership with St Francis Youth Group, we ran weekly sessions in which the participants explored all aspects of the film making process. We looked at everything from ideas generation through to screen acting, soundtrack development, and filming techniques. They put all their ideas together to make a final (epic) product!
